Opening Night Benefit Celebration

In celebration of the MCA's Performance Programs, guests enjoy a cocktail reception, a private performance by the Martha Graham Dance Company, and a post-show dinner. The Martha Graham Dance Company is the oldest and most celebrated contemporary dance company in America. Sculptor Isamu Noguchi created the sets and visual designs.

Zines, Comics, and Other Hip Lit Fair

Co-presented with Quimby's, the MCA's second annual alternative book fair celebrates independent press in all forms: zines, comics, graphic novels, artist books, etc. This rare opportunity to purchase unique art books at a minimal price includes a children's section and art-making activities. Special guests are Esther Pearl Watson and Mark Todd, authors of "Whatcha mean, What's a Zine?"
